The Town of West Sparta Planning Board meets once a month, on the fourth Wednesday (unless this conflicts with Thanksgiving or Christmas) at 7 PM at the West Sparta Town Hall. Our meetings are open to the public. The Planning Board reviews Subdivision applications, Special Use permit applications, and Site Plan applications following the guidelines in the Town of West Sparta Land Development Code and other State and Local laws that relate to zoning and development. The Planning Board may also make recommendations on any other topic that the Town Board requests. Planning Board members are required by law to complete at least four hours of approved training each year so that they keep up to date on planning and zoning issues.
